Our CSR programme focus mainly on fighting extreme poverty & saving our planet

We are a small company with limited resources, and we acknowledge that our efforts (alone) may not create any deep impact in alleviating the difficult problems society is facing today. Nevertheless, Silicon Connection is determined to do our minuscule (but important) share in helping to end extreme poverty experienced in many parts of the world. We have been a loyal donor to World Vision Child Sponsorship Initiative. We have also participated in myriad charity drives and donations back home. The people and organizations that has benefited from us in the past includes: Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka, Ju Eng Home for Senior Citizens, Dover Park Hospice, Moral Home for Disabled, Handicaps Welfare Associations, Muslim Missionary Society of Singapore & Community Chest of Singapore.

In the field of environmental protection and sustainability, Silicon Connection again leads the small enterprises with our creative recycling/reuse businesses, which we have actively strive to incorporate as part of our product and service offering. By doing so, we not only help our customers cut costs, but also increase product's life cycle and enhance environmental sustainability in our industry. Our other "go green" initiatives include annual participation in Earth Day, and our monthly contribution to Plant-A-Tree Programme.

Silicon Connection's management and investors have consistently been giving a significant portion of our company earnings to support charities and helping the community. A generous 2% of our earnings is set aside for various charitable purposes and supporting our CSR program. We have done so without affecting our business competitiveness. Silicon Connection will continue to benchmark ourselves against enlightened companies in the world in terms of CSR, and lead as a responsible corporate citizen.
